Turbosem is a wide-cut pneumatic sowing unit for direct sowing. The improved Turbosem seeder is available in two versions:
- Compact (Turbosem 19–32 and 19–40);
- Wide-coverage (Turbosem 19–48 and 19–60);

Coulter device in Turbosem II
The main working body of the complex is represented by a monodisc opener from the Argentine company Pierobon. The coulter seeder is specially designed to ensure that the coulter is perpendicular to the soil. This solution allows the hold-down anchor to always work at a 90 degree angle, while the turbo knife of the drill forms a V-groove, minimizing soil displacement. At the same time, the agro-grain has a tight contact with the ground due to the clamping mechanism.
Sowing is completed by closing wheels mounted behind the discs. By covering the seeds with loose soil, the wheels destroy the compacted soil with their tines. During operation, it is possible to adjust the pressing force of the monodisc (up to 200 kg), as well as the seeding depth (up to 12.5 cm).
